We have been absolutely bursting to share this wedding with you! Michaela & Andy's wedding in Rutland was beyond beautiful, and such a heartfelt occasion! Their candlelit ceremony was held in Normanton Church, a small chapel right on the banks of Rutland Water - Musician Ben Vickers played Michaela and her dad down the aisle with some acoustic guitar which set the tone for the intimate and emotional ceremony. The wedding party then went for a hour-long boat ride after the ceremony, the perfect way to cool down on a hot summer day!For their reception, Michaela & Andy chose Castle Cottage Cafe in Oakham. The laid-back, secret garden vibe of Castle Cottage Cafe was perfect for their relaxed summer day, and was wonderful for photography with so many pretty details around every corner! Michaela designs stationery and has worked as a stylist, so the attention to detail with the wedding breakfast setup was immaculate. Amazing florals by Michele Gledhill combined with delicate calligraphy, hand-made favours and a spectacular wedding cake (made by Michaela's sister!) created a really special atmosphere. The wedding reception was held outdoors in an open marquee with light drapes and some stunning suspended greenery. It definitely had the wow factor!Guests enjoyed afternoon tea and after the speeches, we headed back out with Michaela & Andy for some intimate, natural, fine art couple portraits in the surrounding woodlands of Oakham village. We were spoilt with a beautiful location and a warm, sunny afternoon - this meant they even had their first dance in the glow of the last light! We felt so privileged to be a part of such a spectacular day - huge congratulations to you both guys!
