We really love rustic, homespun weddings so as soon as Aimee & Andy got in touch we were so excited about their big day!
We started with each of them in the morning to capture them getting ready before their ceremony at Stowting Church – Aimee has a love of horses so only a horse drawn carriage by Acorn Carriage Hire would do. Drawn by two beautiful palomino ponies, Aimee arrived in style! After an emotional ceremony, we all headed back to the Marquee just a few minutes down the road on the family farm. Aimee & Andy had not only prepared a marquee, but also several glamping tents for themselves and their guests to spend the night in! Everything was beautifully decorated by Aimee & Andy, their families and topped off with an abundance of fresh flowers by the very talented Shani from Flowers at the Malthouse. Hanging lanterns, a beautiful cake and cupcakes were all tying in perfectly with the delicate pastel colour scheme.
With the weather forecasts being completely unpredictable for weeks, we were prepared for thunderstorms and allsorts of dramatic weather, but we were treated to a baking hot day full of sunshine – bliss! Everyone enjoyed drinks and beautiful food by the Kentish Kitchen as the sun set over the horizon. We quickly grabbed Aimee & Andy for a few more photos – Aimee’s veil looked absolutely stunning catching the golden light as they walked off into the sunset. Once dark, there was plenty of dancing, a game of Mr & Mrs and we were even treated to a surprise firework display – a perfect way to round off the day!
