We were totally and utterly bowled over by the sheer beauty of Lauren and Matt’s wedding at Aynhoe Park! The day was exquisite in every way and we felt so privileged to be a part of it.
As fine art wedding photographers with a light, airy style, Aynhoe Park is a venue of dreams! As a stately home in the Cotswolds countryside you could be forgiven for expecting a traditional interior, but the reality will take your breath away. Light-filled, contemporary spaces are crammed with artwork and curiosities of all shapes and sizes, from dinosaur fossils to a taxidermy giraffe seemingly floating from balloons! The white-walled orangery is nothing short of divine as a ceremony space, and with the floral arch by Betty & Bear Flowers as a focal point it couldn’t have been more beautiful!
Lauren & Matt’s wedding day was a three day affair giving their guests the most amazing opportunity to explore the venue & grounds. On the actual wedding day, the winter sun made an appearance and the grounds of Aynhoe Park were filled in a beautiful golden haze shimmering on the remaining snow. Lauren & Matt created an elegant wedding with a fun & relaxed vibe. Personal touches added to the venue decor, featuring images of all their guests on the seating plan made the whole day feel very intimate & personal! Some crazy dance moves and a sparkler send-off were the perfect way to round up their wedding photography, as everyone else made their way downstairs to the secret underground club to party into the early hours. Lauren & Matt’s day was so much fun to photograph – can we do it all again please?!
