Bassmead Manor Barns Wedding Photography | Emilie & Dan
Well, what a fantastic way to kick start our 2017 wedding season! We were treated to unseasonably warm weather despite it being a day in mid February, so everyone was able to make the most of the wonderful location and enjoy their surroundings.Emilie & Dan's day was full of rustic charm from start to finish. The setting of Bassmead Manor Barns was perfect for a wedding day of fun and celebrations, surrounded by views of the open Cambridgeshire countryside in Staploe, St Neots. We just loved the beams and exposed brickwork inside the Rickety Barn! The scheme of delicate, romantic pinks, creams and greens in the bouquets and floral decorations looked stunning alongside the dove grey Jenny Packham bridesmaids' dresses, Emilie's flowing gown and the boys' navy and grey suits. White jugs full of fresh spring flowers (including some genuinely gorgeous tulips) sat atop rustic log cross-sections in the centre of all the tables, which were named after desserts! With guests traveling from all over the world (some as far as Australia, and lots from France) the atmosphere was on a high all day - so much laughter, joy and fun! We couldn't have asked for a nicer crowd to spend a day with.
