Ellenborough Park Wedding Photography | Emma & Owen

From the moment Emma & Owen first got in touch we had been so looking forward to capturing their big day. The whole wedding was held at the historic Ellenborough Park near Cheltenham in the Cotswolds (anyone who knows us knows that we LOVE this area and would move here in a heartbeat!). The day was styled with rustic elements and elegant blush tones, as well as a nod to their love of books with literary-themed table decor. Also how cool are Owen's cufflinks (an homage to his days playing in a metal band)?When we arrived at Ellenborough Park, the sky was looming with dark stormy clouds, but we kept everything crossed for the rain to hold off - and we got lucky! We had a couple of hours of dry weather, which meant that the drinks reception and photos could both take place outdoors. Everybody was enjoying the grounds, lawn games and even Florence the dog made an appearance in her best wedding outfit! As soon as the wedding breakfast was served it started to pour with rain, but this made for some pretty spectacular night shots after the meal.Emma & Owen's whole day was bursting with emotion - we particularly loved Emma's brother's tearful reaction as they were announced husband and wife :) A beautiful day from start to finish for an incredibly sweet and down to earth couple. We wish them both every happiness!
