Clarrie and Matt’s classic village wedding day was held in Farningham, with the ceremony in St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church, and the reception in a marquee in the meadow just a few metres down the old high street. They celebrated their day with their beautiful little boy and an intimate group of family and friends, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed all day.
Some vintage American trucks collected the girls and dropped them off at the church, and they certainly turned a few heads as they made their way down the little country lanes! The colour scheme was a soft pastel purple, and the girls’ bouquets featured Clarrie’s favourite roses – the colour is appropriately known as ‘memory lane’.
The star of the show when it came to the speeches was the newlyweds’ little boy, who when given a chance to speak into the microphone tried to take a bite out of it! Adorable! Despite a couple of minor hiccups in the form of brief power cuts everyone was in great spirits and had a great evening of eating, drinking and dancing. The father daughter dance in particular was a real tear-jerker!
