Hampton Manor Wedding Photography | Amelia & Tom

This wedding had it all! Beautiful light & airy spaces, super elegant styling and a meal prepared in the Michelin-Star-winning kitchen at Hampton Manor near Birmingham. We started the day separately at family homes capturing the preparations - we love that the classic tux is growing in popularity, and Tom looked very dashing in his black bow tie & tuxedo combination! Amelia and her girls had a fun morning getting ready together, and there were a few tears when Amelia got into her dress - it's often the final touch of the veil being put in that completes the transformation and sets everyone off! Amelia looked breathtaking, and this was such a special moment before the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony was held in a church in Solihull where Amelia's parents got married. The stone arches of the church make for an incredibly grand space to say 'I do', and natural light poured in through the big windows. After some confetti throwing, the wedding party moved to Hampton Manor for the reception. The drinks reception was followed by a meal in the bright & airy atrium. We love the personalised crest Amelia & Tom had designed for their wedding – it featured on their stationery, cake, napkins etc, and was so elegant! After a beautiful meal, guests enjoyed the mild spring evening on the terrace and gardens of Hampton Manor. Later Amelia threw her bouquet, and in all honesty (after many years of photographing weddings) this was one of the funniest and most enthusiastic battles for the bouquet we’ve ever seen! No bridesmaids or guests were harmed in the making of these photographs ;)

For the evening, Amelia surprised Tom with a change of outfit – her second skirt was lighter, slinkier and ideal for dancing in! They partied and danced amongst their friends and family before having a very romantic sparkler send off - the perfect end to a perfect day!
