Sophie & Sam’s wedding day encapsulated the colours and textures of autumn beautifully – perfect for an October wedding! The rustic wooden beams and stone at Stratton Court Barn provided a cosy setting for the day, which was enhanced by the lighting provided by Oakwood Events and the stunning floristry by Willow & Thyme. Just look at that flower arch – wow! Horses and indian runner ducks made charming neighbours in the grounds of the farm, and we couldn’t resist capturing them in a few photos!
As Sophie & Sam both work in the film industry this played a huge part in their day. Tables were named after fictional film locations (Hogwarts, The Shire and Tortuga to name a few!), and the music from a mixture of soundtracks played throughout the day. A Shadowfax lookalike even made an appearance during the couple portraits! One of the groomsmen was shooting with a beautiful 1964 Bauer 8mm film camera throughout the day, so we’re really excited to see how the footage comes out!
Huge congratulations go out to an incredibly sweet couple – we loved every minute of your special day!
