Luxurious destination wedding at Danesfield House, Buckinghamshire

Xinmei & Josh's wedding day was SO much fun! It's impossible to do it justice in a few words, but just to give you a little insight, a line from Xinmei's wedding vows was "I'm looking forward to hanging out until one of us dies".  The day was full of laughter and just pure joy from start to finish!

The palette for the day was a combination of soft, romantic pastels, and the whole wedding was full of flowers. The wedding breakfast setup was one of the most stunning we have ever seen, with rows of tall arrangements bursting with eucalyptus and blousy blooms, and blush table linen. Xinmei’s look was also very floral-inspired, with delicate flower hair pins and a stunning botanical lace design adorning the dress.

Josh and his colleagues wore their military uniforms and there was sabre arch after the ceremony, which really added to the sense of occasion. Pepper the dachshund was an exceptionally cute member of the bridal party (complete with her own floral collar!) and delivered the wedding rings perfectly!

We also have to mention the venue, Danesfield House, which was incredibly elegant! The Versailles suite, with its ornate detailing, pastel colour palette and glittering chandeliers really blew us away. It looked perfect in combination with the long banqueting table and florals by Seventh Heaven! We found out afterwards that the Clooneys held their English wedding celebration here, so they obviously share Xinmei & Josh's impeccable taste!
